On August 6, 2025, Zhou Meiqing, a fourth-level researcher at the Dezhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, visited HaoYang Environmental Co.,Ltd., a participating unit in the “Luxing Cup” labor competition, to deliver cooling supplies to frontline workers. Yang Xin, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Yucheng Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied her.

Zhou Meiqing and Yang Xin jointly presented “cooling gift packages” to the employee representatives and held a brief on-site symposium to offer condolences. She specifically urged all employees present: “In this sweltering weather, be sure to balance work with rest, carry heat‑stroke prevention medication at all times, and report any physical discomfort promptly—put your health first!”

In addressing the implementation of heat‑prevention responsibilities by enterprises, Zhou Meiqing also set forth clear requirements: “Enterprises must serve as a reliable support for their employees, adjust work schedules in response to weather conditions, ensure adequate provision of heat‑mitigation facilities, and rigorously enforce safe production practices. They should conduct regular inspections of equipment operating status and never allow high temperatures to compromise workplace safety.”

As a participating unit in the “Luxing Cup” labor competition, Haoyang Environment consistently integrates employee care into its daily operations. “The condolences and support from the higher-level trade union not only recognize our workers but also serve as a powerful incentive for our company,” said Chairman Zhao Kuili. “We will rigorously implement the trade union’s directives, refining heat‑prevention measures down to each work team and every shift, ensuring that our employees can carry out their duties with peace of mind and in a safe working environment.”
