Recently, at the production workshop of HaoYang Environmental Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HaoYang Environmental), in Yucheng City, an automated production line was running at high speed, seamlessly handling everything from raw material feeding and batching to automatic weighing, followed by high-precision carding and needle-punching. Roll after roll of finished polypropylene high-strength geotextiles rolled off the line, soon to be shipped to the African market.

“The New Year has gotten off to a strong start, with a 150-million-yuan contract signed and orders booked through July,” said Zhao Hengkai, assistant to the general manager of Haoyang Environment. The company boasts an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons, offering more than 20 product varieties across four major categories—including geomembranes and geotextiles—exported to over 70 countries and regions worldwide. Behind these achievements lies the company’s commitment to boosting productivity through digitalization.

　In 2021, Haoyang Environment implemented Inspur Group’s digital manufacturing execution system (MES) and digital twin platform. The former equips the production workshop with an “intelligent brain,” while the latter leverages simulation, process optimization, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance to establish an adaptive manufacturing and innovation service platform. “At present, the connectivity rate of key equipment has reached 100%, with data collected throughout the entire process and updated in real time, enabling management personnel to monitor production dynamics at any moment,” said Li Hongzhen, Technical Director at Haoyang Environmental. He added that this system has boosted overall production efficiency by 20% and reduced labor costs by nearly 15%, while enabling end-to-end data tracking to ensure precise, traceable quality control for high‑end products such as sprayed rough‑surface geomembranes. The company has also implemented a fully automated intelligent batching system, which not only increases batching efficiency by approximately 50% but also achieves 100% batch‑to‑batch consistency.

Standing at a pivotal juncture—marking the conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the launch of the 15th—Haoyang Environment is accelerating its digital transformation, aiming to achieve end-to-end digital management by year’s end.
