Since its inception, the China International Engineering Consulting Association has anchored its Procurement Summit in the core of the national Belt and Road Initiative, focusing on overseas infrastructure development. The forum has achieved notable results in fostering industry consensus, facilitating multi‑stakeholder cooperation, advancing supply‑chain integration, strengthening strategic mutual trust, and expanding opportunities for collaboration. With each successive edition, the event has grown in scale and stature, effectively promoting mutually beneficial partnerships across the international engineering value chain. It has established a brand image characterized by high‑end expertise, authority, professionalism, and tangible outcomes, evolving into a highly influential industry gathering that commands widespread attention. Through continuous innovation and by actively soliciting the needs and recommendations of both suppliers and buyers, the Association has progressively developed a distinctive supplier‑buyer matchmaking procurement model. This approach has yielded extensive experience in areas such as international procurement knowledge sharing, general contracting–subcontracting coordination, on‑site procurement alignment, certification and promotion of leading suppliers, as well as dedicated project‑specific procurement and exhibition‑display initiatives—earning widespread acclaim and recognition from all stakeholders.
