Haoyang Quality—The seepage-control performance of Gouli Reservoir Has Met Expectations

On June 25, 2018, Laiwu experienced heavy to torrential rainfall, with accumulated precipitation reaching 85 mm. The Gouli Reservoir stored approximately 800,000 cubic meters of water. Based on nearly one month of water-level monitoring conducted by the Laiwu Hydrological Station and the Gouli Reservoir Management Office, the two‑layer geotextile–geomembrane seepage-control system has demonstrated excellent performance, achieving the intended objectives.

　　The Laiwu City Laicheng District Gouli Reservoir Capacity-Expansion Project is located on the Lianhua River, a tributary of the Mouwen River. The reservoir’s hazard‑removal and reinforcement design specifies a total storage capacity of 10.33 million cubic meters, classifying it as a medium‑sized reservoir with a project grade of III.
