In mid-March this year, the Environmental Engineering Department of Haoyang received a construction assignment and dispatched Liu Tao and Chen Shengping to the first lot of the 2019 Urban–Suburban Large-Scale Greening Project in Baiyin District, Gansu Province. Upon arriving on site, the two immediately convened with the client to discuss the essential requirements for installing the impermeable‑lining materials, including excavation of anchorage trenches, leveling of slope bases, treatment of special areas, and material‑welding trials, ensuring thorough preparation to guarantee smooth project execution.

Upon arriving on site, the two immediately convened with the client to discuss the essential requirements for installing the impermeable‑material system—such as excavating anchorage trenches, leveling the slope base, addressing special sections, and conducting material‑welding tests—ensuring thorough preparation to guarantee smooth project execution.

　　During construction, the two parties worked closely with the owner, completing their daily tasks on time and exceeding quality standards, thereby promptly providing sufficient working space for the subsequent sand-and-gravel paving. In response to material‑related and construction‑specific issues raised by the owner, they proactively offered practical recommendations or engaged in constructive discussions. Welding operations were carried out strictly in accordance with applicable codes and standards, with each weld subjected to pneumatic pressure testing; only after passing inspection and receiving signed approval was the next stage of work commenced, thus ensuring the impermeability of the reservoir.
