The Dezhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau Visits Enterprises to Tackle Challenges and Actively Guides Development

　　On August 31, leaders including Geng Xin, Director of the Dezhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; Liu Jingang, Chief of the High-Tech Division of the same bureau; and Wang Ming’an, Deputy Director of the Yucheng Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, paid a visit to Shandong Haoyang New Engineering Materials Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection and provide guidance as part of a special research initiative titled “Solving Difficulties and Promoting Development.” An Guilin, Vice Chairman of Haoyang Company, warmly received the delegation and accompanied them throughout the visit and调研.

　　During the visit and inspection, General Manager An briefed the leaders on the company’s 2016 achievements in the research and development of environmentally friendly materials, environmental engineering consulting, design and construction, as well as its operational performance and accomplishments over the past few years. He also reported that Haoyang Company is committed to a strategic transformation and upgrade, focusing on investing in and operating in the field of hazardous waste treatment and disposal. Furthermore, he expressed the company’s strong support for local governments’ key projects in this sector and its determination to continue contributing to regional economic development.
　　Director Geng and his delegation commended the achievements HaoYang Company has attained in recent years. He stated that the Dezhou Science and Technology Bureau and the Yucheng City Science and Technology Bureau will further strengthen their collaboration with HaoYang, provide comprehensive support, and leverage national policies to foster the company’s sustained and rapid growth. Director Geng emphasized that achieving corporate objectives hinges on innovation-driven development; adapting to the new normal of economic growth and advancing economic transformation and upgrading both require robust scientific and technological innovation; and addressing pressing social challenges likewise depends on innovative solutions. To this end, it is essential to fully harness the roles and contributions of enterprises, scientific and technological talent, and government in the innovation process—ensuring their organic integration, mutual reinforcement, and coordinated efforts. Accordingly, the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will proactively follow up, provide guidance, and assist HaoYang in completing this year’s application for high‑tech enterprise status, thereby laying a solid foundation for the company’s growth driven by technological innovation.
