On the morning of August 3, the second session of the Fifth Council of the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Industry Association was solemnly convened in Jinan. Haoyang Environment, as a council member of the association, was invited to attend the meeting.

　　The meeting was chaired by Song Shengcai, Executive Vice President of the fifth term of the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Industry Association. Attending were Wu Daoji, President of the Association; Wang Qi, Secretary-General; representatives from various directorate units; and others, who delivered a series of reports. The meeting reviewed and approved the 2018 Work Report and Financial Report of the Shandong Provincial Environmental Protection Industry Association. Director Xu Pei presented a report on the work of the Education and Training Center, Director Liu Jijun reported on the Certification Service Center, and Director Gu Fangfang reported on the Testing and Evaluation Center. The assembly also deliberated and adopted several proposals, including the “Administrative Measures for the Environmental Protection Industry Technology Progress Award,” the “Administrative Measures for the Evaluation and Appraisal of Scientific and Technological Achievements in the Environmental Protection Industry,” and the “Proposal Regarding the Change of the Association’s Registered Address.” In addition, the “Regulations on the Establishment of Branch Organizations and Personnel, Including the Association’s Expert Committee” were announced, and the heads of the Association’s Expert Committee, the Environmental Science and Technology Achievement Promotion Committee, the Testing Professional Committee, the Environmental Stewardship Professional Committee, and other branch organizations each addressed the assembly.
