On September 1, a delegation of seven—including Feng Zhiqiang, Director of the Emerging Industries Branch of the China Investment Association; Du Hongwei, Secretary-General of the Shandong Listed Companies Alliance; Xiao Feng, General Manager of Zhanteng Investment Group (Beijing); and Mao Chengwei, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Dezhou (Yucheng) National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone—visited Shandong Haoyang New Engineering Materials Co., Ltd. for an inspection tour. The company was accompanied by Chairman Zhao Kuili, Vice Chairman An Guilin, and Board Secretary Zhang Jianhua.

The delegation of leaders first visited the company’s production base for an inspection. HaoYang’s representatives provided a detailed overview of the facility, including its workshops, equipment, and product portfolio. During the subsequent tour, the chairman highlighted the hazardous waste treatment and disposal project, which drew particular attention from the guests. He explained that hazardous waste damages the ecological environment, poses risks to human health, and hinders sustainable development, making it a significant societal concern. With the implementation of the nation’s strictest Environmental Protection Law in 2015 and the revised Catalogue of Hazardous Wastes, the management of hazardous waste has come under heightened scrutiny from both government authorities and industry players. At the same time, the severe shortfall in hazardous‑waste treatment capacity has sparked a new wave of rapid growth in the environmental‑protection market. HaoYang’s strategic transformation and upgrading are squarely aligned with these policy-driven opportunities, capitalizing on the prevailing momentum. The delegation expressed full appreciation for the chairman’s visionary leadership and commended HaoYang for its proactive commitment to social responsibility.
Subsequently, the two parties engaged in detailed discussions regarding investment cooperation on a hazardous waste treatment and disposal project. Xiao Feng of ZhanTeng Investment Group stated that Haoyang Company’s strategic shift into the hazardous waste management sector is fully aligned with the trends of market‑driven economic development. The successful conclusion of this collaboration will not only ensure a favorable return on investment but also address pressing environmental challenges, contributing to public health and well‑being—a truly commendable endeavor. ZhanTeng expressed its intention to deepen cooperation with Haoyang on this initiative, committing to ongoing follow‑up investments aimed at achieving mutual success and shared growth. Moving forward, the two sides will undertake in‑depth consultations to finalize the specific terms of their partnership.
