This year’s Green Expo, co-hosted by the Provincial Environmental Protection Department and the Qingdao Municipal Government, is themed “Developing Green Industries and Building an Ecological Civilization.” With a focus on “serving both supply and demand sides and enhancing matchmaking efficiency,” it provides a professional, precision‑driven platform for connecting exhibiting enterprises with key pollution‑control project entities in Shandong Province.

Hall 1 of the exhibition is dedicated to exhibitors from environmental protection enterprises and is divided into five sections: an integrated environmental services showcase; a display of technologies, equipment, products, and services in the fields of water‑environment protection, air pollution control, and energy conservation and comprehensive resource utilization; and a platform for self‑media outlets in the environmental protection industry. More than 160 companies from countries and regions including South Korea, the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and Hong Kong are participating, with over 60 custom‑designed booths.

The thematic supply-and-demand matchmaking venue in Hall 5 of the exhibition provides a platform for technical exchange between participating supplier and buyer companies, helping to resolve the dilemma where suppliers struggle to find markets while buyers cannot identify suitable technologies. Events include supply-and-demand matchmaking sessions on ultra-low emissions from coal-fired pollutants, VOCs control, wastewater treatment optimization, and solid waste (including hazardous waste) pollution control. Haoyang Environment placed particular emphasis on attending the session focused on hazardous waste control technologies.
