Main text: At 9:00 a.m. on April 25, a corporate culture training session themed “Gratitude in Corporate Culture” was held in the second-floor conference room of Haoyang Environmental’s old factory. This session received high attention from the company’s leadership; Chairman Zhao, Vice Chairman An, other mid- and senior-level executives, and General Manager Tian of Xinyuan Heating Company all attended together.
At the start of the training, Vice Chairman An delivered a brief address, outlining the objectives of this session: The company has provided all of us employees with a platform for growth and development, and we should cultivate the right mindset and take concrete actions to express our gratitude and give back to the company.
At the training session, Instructor Ding delivered a presentation that explored three key dimensions: an attitude of gratitude, actionable expressions of gratitude—such as meeting needs and carrying forward traditions—and personal growth.
At our company, we each assume different professional roles; it is the source of our livelihood and the means by which we make a living. The company provides us with a platform for growth and development, and in return, we should cultivate a grateful and positive mindset, dedicate ourselves to the organization, and wholeheartedly embrace our responsibilities—using gratitude as the foundation for a path of personal growth and fulfillment. Only by being grateful to others can we truly achieve success: we are grateful to the company for offering us a platform for advancement, to our team for their support, and to our customers for providing us with income.
So what kind of actions should we take to show our gratitude to the company? As Instructor Ding pointed out, whether you’re a leader, an executive, a manager, or a frontline employee, each of us has a clear and well-defined role, bears corresponding responsibilities, and fulfills our own duties. From company leaders and executives to managers, all of us shoulder the responsibility of “passing on the torch,” working together to build an outstanding team—this is the concrete way to express our gratitude to the company.
At the level of “growth,” cultivating gratitude means investing in your own development, fostering a lifelong learning mindset, and continuously enhancing your core professional competencies. Build exceptional skills, project a polished image, maintain a positive attitude, and cultivate noble character. Elevate your personal cultivation, seize opportunities through outstanding performance, create opportunities with integrity and virtue, and pursue them with a grateful heart.
Lecturer Ding noted that this year the company is prioritizing training on execution culture, with the current session on gratitude culture serving as the inaugural module. This initiative aims, on the one hand, to align with the company’s May Day celebration theme—“Grateful to the Enterprise, Together Realizing the Haoyang Dream”—by fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of gratitude culture. On the other hand, it seeks to enhance middle- and senior-level leaders’ awareness of gratitude culture, thereby laying the groundwork for future training on the company’s execution culture.
Following the training session, General Manager An delivered a concluding address, encouraging all mid‑ and senior‑level leaders to cultivate the habit of lifelong learning, continuously enhance their capabilities and personal cultivation, and advance together on the company’s robust growth platform. He also extended his best wishes for the “May Day Speech” competition, expressing confidence that, through an in‑depth exploration of the “Culture of Gratitude,” participants will elevate and enrich their speeches, achieving outstanding results.
