“Team Cohesion Building Boot Camp”
——A compulsory lesson that united hearts in 2018 at Haoyang

The “Team Cohesion Boot Camp” commenced on February 3 at the Jihua Building in Jinan. During this one‑day, one‑night team‑building session, Haoyang employees let go of their inhibitions and embraced a spirit of freedom, using hands‑on activities to examine their mindsets from multiple perspectives and levels. They honed their self‑awareness, identified personal blind spots and areas for improvement, and strengthened their sense of responsibility and loyalty to the company—ultimately aiming to enhance both team cohesion and execution capability.
The course is meticulously structured, with each module building on the last. Addressing common challenges in team management within organizations, it combines gamification with experiential sharing to help participants recognize that unwavering trust and seamless collaboration are essential for effective teamwork. Through engaging activities, the program sparks creativity in every team member, giving the team a decisive edge in competitive settings and ultimately leading to success.

This is a training program designed to build a team that fosters barrier-free communication, accountability, mutual trust, efficiency, collaboration, and continuous learning. It addresses several key issues—such as employees constantly complaining that their leaders don’t provide enough support; leaders feeling frustrated that despite all they’ve done, their efforts go unappreciated; a lack of responsibility and sense of ownership among employees, leading to an uneasy workplace atmosphere; team members who are self-centered and resistant to management; and employees lacking a sense of urgency, content with the status quo. With the goals of cultivating employees’ ability to recognize their own blind spots and embrace constructive criticism; fostering a mindset and capacity for mutual appreciation and recognition between management and staff; nurturing a win‑win or multi‑win mentality and a spirit of mutual support and collaboration, thereby strengthening team cohesion and establishing effective communication channels; and instilling in both leadership and employees a commitment to keeping promises, punctuality, accountability, a strong sense of purpose, unity, cooperation, and a positive attitude toward work and life—the program helps participants confront themselves and understand that a successful team requires shared values. Through engaging activities, participants overcome psychological barriers, dare to take on challenges they once hesitated to face, and further boost their self‑confidence. They also experience the fear of being on the brink of life and death, which deepens their appreciation for everything they have. Moreover, these exercises allow team members to personally feel the power of teamwork: the honor a team earns is the result of each member’s dedicated effort, and every individual’s contribution is part of the collective achievement. When one teammate stumbles, every member must do their utmost to offer help; only when everyone stands up and pitches in can the team truly grow stronger. Finally, the program reminds participants to always carry a heart of gratitude, to live with gratitude, and to sincerely thank life, their parents, and everyone who has ever supported them.
This training has been highly enlightening, helping each of us to cherish the work we do even more. Following the program, we’ve adopted several new mindsets—learning, positivity, empathy, a willingness to start from scratch, a spirit of giving, openness, and gratitude—that we’ve never embraced before. We will keep the instructor’s insights close to our hearts, apply them in our daily work, and repay the company through concrete actions and dedicated effort.
