　　At 6:30 p.m. on March 27, 2018, employee Wu Guangqiang of Haoyang found a wallet in front of the Yijia Shangpin residential complex. The wallet contained some cash, as well as important documents such as a medical insurance card and an ID card. Mr. Wu immediately asked nearby residents if anyone had lost it, but no one claimed it. With nightfall approaching, he had no choice but to take the wallet home for the time being.

　　On the morning of the 28th, after arriving at work, Master Wu discussed the matter with his colleagues and asked how to proceed. His coworkers compiled the information from the ID card in the wallet and shared it on WeChat Moments and other social platforms. Within little more than an hour, thanks to widespread reposting and verification, they confirmed that the wallet’s owner was Manager Gao, from the human resources department of a company in the Development Zone. Manager Gao hurried straight to Haoyang and told Master Wu that he never imagined his wallet could be recovered so quickly. He expressed his gratitude to Haoyang’s employees for their honesty in returning lost property and for going out of their way—reaching out to friends and family—to help him get in touch.
